The Night High School (NHS )
NHS offers a variety of classes in an accelerated format to allow students to recover credits without interfering with their daytime classes.
In order to enroll in NHS you must enroll in an Alief ISD high schools and speak to your counselor.
Night High School operates Monday – Thursday in 9 week quarter.
First Quarter begins August 13, 2024
Second Quarter begins October 16, 2024
Third Quarter begins January 8, 2024
Fourth Quarter begins March 19, 2024
We offer 3 instructional periods per evening.
NS1 - 3:15-4:35
NS2 - 4:45-5:50
NS3 - 6:00-7:15
Provided space in class is available, students may enroll in any or all periods as needed.
We observe all Alief ISD scheduled holidays.

Registration Information
Students interested in enrollment in NHS must be at least 16 years old, have no serious discipline within in the past 90 days, and no pending discipline placements.
Enrollment is based on class availability.
Students are prioritized based on cohort year.
